We have quarterly "pulse" surveys and they're generally the same questions. They also say it's anonymous, which we all know is not true.

One question that hasn't changed is "do you have a best friend at work?" Since we spend so much time together, it's always good to have a trusted comrade. Can you say that you have one? If not, why?

I don't have a work best friend and I'm cool with it. I'm friendly with people, I'll grab lunch on occasion, but I'm not texting coworkers on weekends. That question feels weird to me. Like it's trying to get you to invest more of your time and emotional bandwidth into the job or something. Maybe I'm overthinking, I don't know. Just seems like an odd thing for an employer to ask.

I laughed the first time someone said they believed the survey was anonymous. I asked her how it's possible when she's using company equipment and responding to an email sent to her company email.

Feels like a loaded question. If I say no, I can’t get along with others. If I say yes, then work is just social time. Would love to know the reasoning on that one. We don’t have surveys like that, just a feedback form that is optional.

I think they're trying to guage if you're loyal, have a positive outlook, or enjoy coming into work. It has been a regular question for years!

You had ne at "which we all know is not true". I have been warning my close peers to rate everything as positive (almost 80%) a step low once every 7-8 question and 1-2 answers on neutral/cant say. This is how your survey will remain anonymous as blended in and not to stand out in results for them to check "who is this".

I have good relationship with people which may last even we may switch jobs, They don't need to know. This is never beneficial if not harmful

Interesting. Let’s see if the uptick In cases continues to drive an uptick in hospitalizations and then in fatalities. Depends on how many of the cases are incidental or in very young people not prone to severe cases. But either way, look at the hospital capacity utilization figures! This is the untold story. Were we bending the curve to avoid unnecessary deaths due to overcrowded hospitals, or were we bending the curve to buy time for treatments and vaccine, or just to slow fatalities?

How does Strategy & Consulting differ from Business & Tech Integration? It appears to me, looking at the profiles of people in these different divisions, that most of the time at the Consultant-ish level, both divisions are just providing Business Analysts? What am I missing?

How do you deal with a boss that dislikes you? I haven’t received a single opportunity to work on a new project even though I’m doing all of my tasks on time and I’m doing them accurately. I have automated some reports and built a lot of reports from scratch. Yet my boss never communicated to me and doesn’t seem to value my opinions.
