Anyone have an interest in crypto and want to join our crypto consulting tax practice? The firm I work for does consulting for celebrities and high net worth individuals on their crypto positions. You learn a lot about leading edge web 3 and we have a good team of people, so much work to go around.

I know this may not be a popular comment;

I don’t understand the overvalue of “I have oncology experience, or I do have dermatology experience”.

What I do really care is to know, regardless which disease you’ve worked on, if you did something great, disruptive, found a new way of doing something, did a great/smooth launch…

Don’t have experience? If you are good on those other things, I know you can learn context fast.

I was recently interviewing a very good candidate who was not only technically strong but also had a very good problem solving skill. Below is his yoe and tech stack

How much should be ideal package to ask for?

I’m trying to collect some supporting reviews/feedback from some of my stakeholders for an upcoming employee review cycle (we don’t do 360s). In the past these have been sent directly to manager but is there another way to collect them to present to manager/hr? Is it weird to ask them to send directly to me for me to present?

I was promoted to manager in July 2020 (3,5 yr of experience). Currently preparing for YE but honestly, I couldn’t care less - what motivates one to push for SM promotion? Not my case atm, but wanted to hear what motivates ppl to keep going as I don’t feel like it’s worth it.

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Interviewing for an internal role and hiring manager wants to finalize it before YE. Is the odd of slightly higher if HC round is passed?
