There is also one thing that I have been noticing and the pattern is same for internal applicants. Hiring managers have their own people and they want to bring their own people to support their unreasonable ecosystem. So people are told all kind of BS about how demanding the role is and many other things but somewhere in all of these discussion their own candidate is already finalised. To cope up with formalities and mask everything so that process looks business as usual, they are taking people for ride. Few rounds and then declare either role is not in strategy anymore or filled with better candidate.
Oh is it? Posting multiple roles and conducting interviews for name sake and promoting internal people is not good at all.. As pointed out by you guys, who are already working there , now I understand that the situation is worse and people who are actively looking for a job should take care.
Be grateful that what ever happens it’s for your own good, after selecting they may terminate. That’s worst than not selecting

I was just thinking that the interview process took more than 3 months and with long durations and multiple rounds for a post which didn't exist at all !
It's a big joke these days. You will get 2 emails - one saying another candidate has been selected and second one saying position is cancelled. Not sure what's the matter.
