Went to an interview where they kept mentioning “fast paced environment” over and over but never really explained the role. Made me unsure what I’d actually be doing. Do you take that as a warning sign?

Could be a warning sign. Fast paced could mean just that. Or it could mean that they will be understaffed and you will have a lot on your plate. I’d ask specifically what the challenges are with the position and how someone would be successful in overcoming those challenges, and see how they answer that. Could be telling

It’s a fast paced environment, we are a high volume door, it’s difficult to fill those part time positions, and retain . These are all the very things mentioned to me in my last interview. Should have listened, Now I average 22k steps per 8 hour shift. Yes that is a 1/2 marathon. A day 5 days a week that’s about 60 miles. I’m looking for a desk job at this point..

I’m in a tough spot—still waiting for conflicts to clear and out of the blue, a partner reached out regarding a project that they’ve staffed me on. They want my availability to begin working on the matter next week…how do I handle this? I haven’t given notice, but expect to do so soon…I don’t think it’s prudent to start a new matter esp. since I know I’m leaving…but I can’t turn down work with a straight face (especially because my hours are in “checked out” mode)…

What are some things you guys wish you knew before you started your NetSuite implementation?

I’m at a small company that’s sort of becoming medium sized, and a new exec pushing to quickly implement NetSuite and I just want to make sure we’re not getting in over our heads, he’s trying to get this done within two months

We currently use Salesforce, quick books, and excel, we’ll be consolidating a lot of accounting and finance stuff into netsuite and integrating it with Salesforce
