@PWC is worst company for freshers. They are force innocents to resign by themselves and threating then to not to mail anyone and not share this context to anyone worst company, if layoff means ok removing and threatening to not to disclose to anyone means the have lost every single moral. Don't fall trap in the brand name @PWC.

Two factors for consideration : Credit Suisse is currently in a big mess due to negative 2Q results. BNY has one instance of layoffs in 2019. I have 6+ years of experience into data analysis & I work on a BI tool Spotfire.
My current Fixed is 12.50LPA + 10% variable.
My manager and I feel I'm highly underpaid but cannot do anything about it due to the merger.

Asking advice from a recruiter: I’ve been recently laid off :( This week I took some time to reflect, talk to friends and family. I want to be more thoughtful on my next move and although interviewing right away would be logical I feel I want to take a break and some time for myself.
