Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

Move up the ladder into a delivery lead role and let the developers do the technical work. Can also do a BA, product owner, or PMO type role on an analytics project.
What would the role of PMO on that project typically be?
You should be working towards becoming a Data (& AI) architect.
Depends on type of architect, enterprise is fine to be non technical, but you should absolutely have technical skills as a solutions or technical architect or you'll do more damage than good
Being a project manager, BA, product owner etc are fine roles with little to no tech knowledge
Program manager, product manager, Project manager - Depends on no of years of experience you have.
Data Analyst, I give a lot of insights in my current role, all based on data
Solution Architect roles are a good balance if you can problem solve, understand the various technologies in the D&A ecosystem and can engage with client stakeholders. Usually nothing too hands on, generally involves designing platforms / solutions and sitting alongside delivery managers in leading programmes.
Data management/governance/strategy
Marketing analytics. Lots of reporting and dashboards/PPT
PM or PMO
Digital analyst or product analyst roles tend to use tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, sometimes SQL. In my experience it's been more dashboard/slide deck/insights heavy compared to typical data analyst roles which tend to be more technical.
