You will be at the top of the consultant level pay scale. That’s way high.
Im a bta in a&c with 1.25 years experience at 95k + 10k signing. Your offer seems pretty solid. Currently doing a sexy data project at a faang company and the team reports to the ceo every week. Definitely loving deloitte right now.
I also came from kpmg (think Ive thoroughly doxxed myself now)
Yea I would say 2-3 years is common. Since you would be high up in he pay band, I’m not really sure what the increase would be tbh
Where are you moving from OP? Why leave kpmg?
@D5 what is the project about if you mind sharing. Is it building ML models at scale. Faang experience is awesome.
Yes seems good for C level
Def on the high end of the band for C level. Good for you OP!
Follow up then, D1. How many years does it take to level up and what is the usual change in salary for C to SC? The recruiter said C to SC is 2 years avg.
Last question, what is the usual/avg bonus compensation for C level? I got a max number for bonus on the offer letter but is something 7-8% reasonable to expect?
I have an offer from Salesforce for a ~15% higher base but in SF as a data scientist, so trying to figure approx in hand of salary including everything for D.
Hmm!! So now you are in two minds!! Let us know by tomorrow COB.
Yours truly,
Recruiting HR
That seems reasonable to expect for avg performance. You may be lower though the first time around, since you will be prorated based on the fiscal year.
That 15% bump may not justify the cost of living in SF
Its unfortunately more data engineering and bi, with some very small scope for predictive modeling.
