Hello fishes,
So what is your experience in increasing ECTC while getting subsequent job offers? How much increase shall we ask on top of previous offer? E.g. Immediately - it depends what you left at and where you come in. Senior at B4 to MBB-T2 out of school is doubled
What if someone is already at 150k does that mean he would go to 300k
May be missing the point - question was how long would it take..
At McKinsey the rule of thumb is your total comp ~doubles every 2-3 years all the way to senior partner
A1, it’s more accurate coming in as BA instead of Asc, should’ve clarified. BAs have much steeper curves to “catch up” to Ascs by the time both are EMs
Our post MBA comp Y1 is the best (C3, then dips). But, you can skip some years. C3 was a great year, then it dropped. Some homegrown who go get MBAs do come back as M1, though. My C3 year was ~225k. If I accelerate, I’ll get MD1 in 6yrs, which may double that. That’s unlikely, so I think 10yrs is prob the reality. If just base, the answer is the same.

Do you mean before and after? Because I went from 60k before to 150k after the mba. Or do you mean double your post mba salary?
EY - mind posting your levels? We tend to lose visibility vs other firms here, but know ours isn’t very competitive.
3 years - 150 to 300
A2- sorry somehow I mistakenly remembered their base as 235 vs 240. HUGE oversight on my part, that really makes a world of difference. And you seriously expect us to believe you went from Consultant (150) to top paid SM (300), in three years? If I were a client, I would not want an SM on my account who is just 1+ year removed from having been a consultant level. How much maturity and expertise has someone really gained in that time period to justify having them lead a mission critical project for my company? Maybe that’s why it’s Accenture, and not MBB, or even D, EYP, S&, ATK, etc.
