I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.
Cognizant

I had case interviews for tech. They were easy as shit though
More to the point: why are you avoiding case interviews?
I can say there’s a good comparison between the work I do on a daily basis and the cases I faced when interviewing. Case interviews gauge a candidate’s thought process (structuring) to see how they’ll fare in a real world problem solving session.
If you’re concerned about your ability there are online prep courses you can take. Once you understand the types of questions and the frameworks to apply it becomes a lot easier. On the other hand, if you’re avoiding case interviews because you don’t like that kind of thing, then you may want to rethink why you want to be in consulting.
I definitely don’t want to be in consulting lol. I just happened to get here and have stuck around. No clear exit opps yet.
But generally speaking - no I’m not worried about my ability, but instead the latter. Mainly because time spent with cases reduces time spent for me to gain insights on the people and culture. (Sure, not much can be known because it’s team and project dependent. But something is always better than nothing).
To each their own.
