I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?

Have interviews set up at FAANG co and getting good signals, for a position that was posted widely (all across US) but not remote. Haven’t broached the subject of location yet. Out of curiosity, what percent of your work/analyses are Excel based? And what other softwares do you use the most (Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.)

My work has been 90% Excel based 10% Access/SQL based and friends at other firms seem to be using way more advanced programs.

As holidays come around, the family has upped their questions about when we are having kids and why we haven’t yet. At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me.
