We conduct regular compensation analyses across similar roles to ensure we're paying people fairly relative to their peers. If two people are doing substantially similar work at similar performance levels, their compensation should reflect that. And to be very blunt, the company wants to do this to avoid claims of “wrongdoing” or wage inequalities. How often do you have those reviews? Ours are annual.
