Hey team! So I was laid off from my SDR position about a week ago. A couple months back, I had an offer for a BDR position that I ended up turning down but I really liked and connected with the manager. Is it worth it to reach out? Email stated to reach out to another recruiter for immediate assistance so I did. I emailed her , she said these offers do take some days because of the Hr and HM has to sign it. Once that happens my recruiter should send me the offer. Either on the day she comes back, but by the end of the week. I am going stir crazy, I really hate my current job. Help…

What kind of system do you use?

I'm developing this PC position at work (they've never had one) and I am forced to use the current ticketing system in place. The plan is to create tickets specific to tasks. I want to use a numbering system for cross referencing and basically visual organization. My Ops mgr isn't entirely on board and wants to know why we have to use a setup that works for me while those parts aren't necessarily for everyone.

Not sure how else to build something from scratch.

I just accepted a corporate counsel role with a large Fortune 500 company. Any advice or thoughts on make the transition from a firm to in house?

My director gave me a 45 day termination warning. I had a random 1:1 with my director last Friday. She essentially told me I have 45 days to increase my activity (I’m a recruiter that gets measured on daily metrics.) After the 45 days if I don’t meet these requirements I will be terminated. As you can imagine I am panicking a little bit, I’ve confided in a few coworkers and they told me to start looking for a new job because even if I meet these metrics I could still be fired. Any advice?
