Intermittent fasting. Had no idea it would not only allow me to sleep better with less gastrointestinal issues but the energy rush AND mental clarity (less brain fog) was an unexpected but hugely welcomed benefit. Sounds weird but I’ve enjoyed this change.

I eat my last meal no later then 7:30P. I break my fast around 11:30 the following morning. The biggest aha was that I my stomach wasn’t hungry after 7:30 but my eyes were. I realized I did a lot of mindless late night, ‘unwinding after a long day’ eating.

I also subscribed to Simple for 60 days. It was great for reminders but also motivation and education. It 💯 kept me motivated then once I dialed into how good I felt…it was easier.

One more thing… I started by trying to reduce pressure on myself and said I wouldn’t fast on Sat and Sun. Just Monday- Friday. I ended up doing it 7 days a week… every now and then I’ll go later -socializing - but I don’t fret. I just get back on.

Try it … you’ll like the body benefits!!

Looking to use my skills in leading a career services department and nonprofit management to a role developing a large scale company internship program. With a written proposal in hand I want to work with the right company in saving them thousands in retention, recruiting, and other expenses. Thought, leads? I’d love to talk more.

Not taking calls on my commute. I used to spend the whole hour long commute on the phone with a coworker or direct report and it really wound me up and stressed me out.

Not spending time on the phone talking about issues at work has really helped me disconnect and decompress. I feel more at peace.

Does anyone here live near East 83rd St and 3rd Ave? I'm interested in an apartment there but I noticed a huge construction site at the corner there. The agent said the construction there is now mostly just facade work on the top so it's not noisy any more, but I don't 100% buy that. If anyone lives in that area, can you please tell me if you can still hear any construction noise from inside your apartment when you close your windows at all? Thanks!

Does anyone remember in grade school when one of the assignments was during the time scientists announced Pluto was not a planet and some teachers had us write essays and whether Pluto should or shouldn’t be a planet using so scientific based arguments?
