I have got an offer of 14.5 lpa for 4.5 yrs experience.
I have another offer of 17 LPA. Want to know if I should ask for matching the new offer or hike on current offer.

How do I write to other companies to step up the interview process - got an offer on Friday from a less desirable exit opp. I have a final round interview with another company that I am keen on joining but I want to let them know to speed up the process without sounding like a jerk.

What’s a good starting salary for a newer attorney? I’ve never worked anywhere but in the public sector (even before becoming an attorney). I currently clerk for a judge and now am up to $44k as of July 1. I’m in KY. I’ve recently had a couple attorneys reach out to me about joining their practice. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice?
