What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

maybe try the federal division of the big consulting companies - like Accenture had a federal division, Deloitte also has one. They willl find your govt experience useful for their govt clients
Thank you so much!! Will check this out.
Try LinkedIn. Lots of recruiters there.
LinkedIn is good. On LinkedIn, you can actually see name and profile of recruiter who is posting the job, message them links write a personal LinkedIn message in addition to applying. that helps them since they get thousands of applications.
Are you doing Skillbridge??
I will be honest, don't do that. I don't know how many years you have been in the military, but I have transitioned many over the years. Please take at least 3-4 weeks off. Grow your hair, wear what you want, make the mental transition to commercial employment. Otherwise you will burn out very quickly. Also, there is a lot of paperwork you will have to fill out, more than you realize, which will require multiple days off leading up to your retirement date.
My suggestion is do Skillbridge, even if it's only a few months (I think the minimum is 31 days) have the company help you with your resume, and take a month off before starting a new job. Most Skillbridge providers want to hire you at the end of your internship.
Where are you located?
WA state, but open to relocate for the right opportunity!
DoD SkillBridge. Honestly you are a bit late but if you jump on it now you should be able to get something.
