The range is massive. 43k is about the lowest (that's 13% on top of the analyst pay). It can go into 90s but that's typically for MBA hires (recruited directly from INSEAD campus or something).
53k is not bad if you are homegrown with no other experience and no MBA. You'll be eligible for bonus at L9 too; these again will favour hot areas.

Salaries are different for almost everyone - it is a tough pill to swallow. The analyst group is really the only time in ACN where your salaries match other peoples.
I understand that low end is £43k these days. Used to be £49k. I’m on 55k as a L9.
Exp Hire +MBA
L9 62K, 10% joining bonus
I didn’t have an mba but 5 years of experience.
I was on 49k before being promoted this round. Definitely on the lower end and most peers were on low 50s
Promoted to level 8 on 56k… so great to know it doesn’t even put me above Level 9
Are stay and level increases unlikely in December round?
Pro
1). because June is the pay raise period, not December. December is the bonus period.
2). lump sum payments aren’t bonuses. I know at the end of the day it’s extra money in your bank account, but they aren’t the same thing.
3). we got lump sum payments in June because it benefits Accenture in the long run by not giving us it as a payrise instead. There is no benefit to Accenture to provide further stay-at-level raises during a time where they’re not supposed to happen.
3a) ON OCCASION some people on some levels may have their pay adjusted to ‘be more market-relevant’, this is only because they were grossly underpaid.
What makes you think there WILL be SAL increases in December A1? One-off lump sums in June isn’t a reason.
It's usually around 50ish nowadays, experienced hires at L9 usually are late 50's early 60's, L9/8 salaries seem to have kept up with inflation unlike L7/6.
Experienced Hire. L9 at 62k p/an and a sign on bonus of circa 7-8k.
