I work at KPMG and was told that I will not be promoted (from senior associate 2 to 3), but received pay rise as someone who was promoted. I am so proud person that immediately after knowing that I will not be promoted, I wrote resignation. What is your action plan in this case? Will you resign? Now I am not able to handle the pressure in this Product company and want to go back to CGI. Can I apply to CGI again? Will they take me? Is there any duration to apply again. Please help.

So far from reading online it sounds like Pearland is a good option but I have not been able to validate that/ figure out what other options are out there. I would appreciate all advice:
