Thoughts on GEP?
Hello,
Can ex-TCSer join back TCS??
I work in US Tax and had an experience of 3 year. Had got an offer of 14Lpa in another big4,but still don't feel like continuing in US Tax. As taxation is something I do feel like I don't want to make a career anymore, because of work life balance & also as it specialised. Please suggest other option worthy to make a career shift. You guidance will be extremely helpful. My highest qualification is M.com.
EY KPMG Deloitte PwC.
Anyone knows about the base for chase PCA?

My last company had us send links to 3 things from our Amazon Wish List and they picked one to send. This was great because it was a surprise, but guaranteed to be something we wanted.
That’s so cool!!!
A nice holiday bonus
UK construction management company; would get enough booze and wine to last until the next year.
Beside the gift of a Christmas bonus!…
1Movie passes for our family on year.
2. Sledding tickets for employees and our families members.
3. Elfster gift exchanges are fun too!!
Our company worked with a local company and provided all employees a pair of boots- like redwing, etc that were worth $300-400 each or could opt for a gift card to spend at that local business. I was able to get a nice north face winter jacket
A Smirly Charcuterie Board Set.
Apple Watch
Places I’ve worked at are cheap based on everyone else’s answers 😳 I got a bag of stale Christmas cookies once. But my manager did give everyone on the team an Amazon gift card, which I thought was very generous
Week off between Christmas and New Year
One year we did a secret santa and did a price limit of $30. That was probably my favorite holiday present ever! Otherwise, I've never really received any I liked other than an amazon gift card
Movie membership, gift cards from Nordstrom rack .
Our company gave all field people and their spouses a choice between Revo sunglasses, a Topo backpack or some other type of ladies bag. Each valued at least $100+
I assume these are on top of bonuses. I got a Rocketbook one year. Another year we each got a cozy blanket. I keep mine in my office. One year was handmade placemats, which seemed a little weird, but we actually use them. Those are the gifts that stand out. Good gift boxes and the like always go to waste at my house. My spouse is a picky eater.
*food gift boxes
I have never received anything at any point.
Same
The only company that gifted (forced on) us for the Holidays offered (scheduled) us 7-10 days without a day off leading up to Xmas. And the only thing “scheduled” was our start times.
Looked like:
Monday 8-
Tuesday 8-
Wednesday 8-
Etc…. 😩😩😩
We would typically work 18-19 hour days. Pay always was great, all that OT. But they weee so brutal!
One of the only reasons I’m happy I got laid off…!
If you worked at my company, you ended up HATING holidays..

Where are you all working that the company gives you holiday gifts?
I've had individual managers give gifts, usually out of their own pocket, but never something that comes from the company to everyone unless it's a free catered lunch, holiday party, or day off.
My first job out of college, we would get a surprise each year. 2 of the years, we came to work and were handed a $500 gift card and were shuttled to an awesome shopping center where we spent the day. It was so great when we were just starting out and starting a family. Everyone loved it.
I started work on November 20th. Got a 2k bonus at the end of December. Still remember how surprised I was.

Our company gives us gift boxes full of goodies, and last year it had a Tumi backpack.
