It's my first month in a new job as Product Owner. I went from a company that digital product development was their secondary focus along with consultancy services, to a company that their only focus is the product. Hello! Looking at an opportunity with established startup in UK that's just been acquired by a large co. I'm US based and my salary is around $250k (NYC) -I've been asked my expectation without the startup giving me a range to work from (though I've asked). Really confused as to whether to incorporate my NY- based makeup startup as an LLC or an S-corp? Not based in NYC if that matters and no revenue yet. Should I be looking into Delaware at all (specifically a Delaware C-Corp) if I do plan on raising capital at some point down the line? Also - for any FDA lawyers out there, what is the problem with developing makeup (specifically foundations) with SPF? I've heard it's "heavily regulated." What do I need to be aware of?
