I pursued someone who was in life that I wanted to be and earned their mentorship. I recommend finding someone like that. Podcasts and books are great, but mentoring yourself without a person guiding you at the helm get ready for rougher journey than if you were mentored.

Has anyone left a cyber consulting role (e.g., strategy, risk advisory) and pivoted into cyber tech sales? I don’t have a big sales background (worked in sales operations as an intern and know the “process”)but have considered my next move to go into cyber sales. I feel like having a knowledge of client’s cyber programs could give leg up when selling….. thoughts on this? Thanks In advance.

I am a 13 yrs experienced professional and currently in a project where I look after the data collection, quality validation and source the data to a cloud reporting engine. I have worked mostly on data bases as ETL developer, ETL Tester and Data modeling. Now, my profile has become a mix of all but none of them are mastered. I need to understand the further career progression as I am confused which way should I proceed? Project management OR Business Analyst OR upskill to data science?

I’d like input!

I am currently a charge nurse and am in a “Pathway to Leadership Program” that will come with promotions into leadership/administration. I am concerned that going through the leadership ladder will lead to a lot of politics.

I am thinking of getting a masters of healthcare informatics, and would love input from people in both industries and any advice you have!

Would you continue into the nursing leadership ladder or go into health informatics (which also has leadership!)?

I’m almost one year out of undergrad (econ background) so a lot of the CAIA content is new to me

I recently started my MBA though I'm still having trouble landing interviews and think I should be applying for different roles than I have been. I've been working in cosmetics mainly on the customer service side, currently senior support for the CS team and have experience doing CS on social media.
