What is the desired salary i should expect if i am switching. 10 years 8 months experience as dotnet angular fullstack engineer. Tech lead or senior software engineer position. I am currently working for 24 LPA in Hyderabad.

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost).
