I am wondering why and how this is a belief, from OMS1’s perspective because the world has not always functioned from this perspective.
The construct, as we know it today, began perhaps 500 years ago among European scientist. Meaning, it can be dismantled.

Disagree. No one can see into the future; just because it's been happening for centuries doesn't mean change has not been made and will not be made.
That said, I think it's going to take a LONG time to root out all the various ways racism (and sexism) have been perpetuated in US society.
Unfortunately our black children especially our men see systemic racism in schools and in life. It talks special people who don’t see color but uplift the person. It is time to include black history and talk about it more.
