Any other recruiters in this bowl?
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

The job search is so nerve wrecking.
I had interviewed with Deloitte UK consulting in June/July and was called by the HR team by the end of July that the interviews were positive and they're sending for approval for an offer to be rolled out. Consultant 1 dropping excellent knowledge, echo all of what they said. Basically have clear answers to all of these:
1. Why PE or investing for you?
2. Why you for PE or investing?
3. What kind of PE or investing? (City, stage, sector, size of team, etc)
4. Questions to ask them: team size, mix of sourcing / diligence / portfolio, comp, career progression (incl MBA), IC process, fundraising status, etc
Be prepared to introduce yourself, talk about the Deal experience you have (DDs I guess, although Portfolio work could be valuable too), sectors you are interested in / have more experience at, etc. Do you know to which funds they are hiring for? If yes research about them. If not, have an idea if you want deal team or portfolio, Private equity or Growth equity, industry focused funds (Tech like Hg Capital, Vitruvian, Consumer like L Catterton, Verlinvest, Industrial…) or generalists (Advent, KKR, Carlyle etc)
Thanks!
Also any questions / discussion points you think I should touch on?
