Honestly it depends on the area. But I would say a good range is 1800-2500. Also depends on the % of income you want to spend.
I agree. 1800 to 2200 is the range for rent at a decent place. Ideally rent should be 30% of you monthly take home pay. Any more than that, is just a lot for rent. (In my opinion)
What neighborhood are we talking? Downtown Scottsdale prices are day and night different from that of a 2-bedroom in East Mesa.
A two bedroom apartment is about $1900 typically and you need to make 3-5x that in order to get approved.
I'd say at least about $1800 if you want to have a decent place. There are plenty of dumpy places for like $1200 out there, but I'm guessing you wouldn't wanna live in one of those.
East Mesa, $1800/month, 85K
Depends where you want to live. Do you have some neighborhoods in mind already?
I have an apartment in North Scottsdale that’s a 2-bed. 2.6k including taxes, community fee, wifi, cable, parking, and valet trash — $2.3k for apartment alone
Depends on where you want to live. I live downtown Phoenix. It’s not the nicest place, but I’m 2 miles from work. My rent takes up 35% of my income.
Why rent? After the COVID moritoriums, rent have gone up. I could put you in contact with a lender to see what you qualify for. There are also programs to help with down payments. Let know how I can help.
