Are there any scrum masters out there willing to take me on as a mentee? I recently received my CSM, but I know that is not enough to get a job. Is it wrong to work low budget favors from the small local production/post shop and never give them a chance at a regular budget job?

Looking for advice from anyone that worked at a large company in product management and switched either to a startup or a smaller company, or even to another large company. I find myself getting very frustrated with process getting in the way of progress. Is this true of all large companies? And is it better to have the ambiguity of no process at all at a smaller company?

Is it a norm to send a thank you note through your recruiter? I had an iffy interview, and wondering if I bother sending a thank you note. It was very clear that they were trying to do a stress interview so I feel weird saying the usual nice things.

How do you manage competing interests during a singing or closing? I’m working on a closing scheduled for this week (obviously everything needs to be done asap) and while I’ve told folks on my other deals that this closing is very busy, I’ve gotten really snarky responses and have been told that I’m taking too long to respond to stuff that (in my opinion) is not urgent on these other deals. My company is transitioning from wfh back to the office, but everyone returning to the office is supposed to be vaccinated. I told my boss I would NOT be getting the vaccine and he said I wouldn’t have a desk in the office until I did. So I told him I would continue to wfh. He said that “wouldn’t work.” After our phone call, I got an invite for a zoom conference with my boss and an HR rep!? They’re infringing on my rights by requiring a vaccine. What can I do to make sure I keep my job?
