Swift! Do you think learning Java is a bigger advantage over C++?
Honestly I would say the biggest advantage is learning the fundamentals of programming, then learning a new language is easier. I learned C++ in school but picked up Java fairly easy because of those fundamentals.
Python, typescript, Java

Java all the way
I’m struggle to learn Java. Any tips?
This is tough to answer. The key to learning languages is know how YOU learn. But I’ve suggested for others to learn languages using courses. There are free ones that are self guided online and low cost ones on sites like Coursera. Ultimately, I would say you need to be language agnostic and learn more of the principles behind programming. So Java was the first language I learned. But I’ve worked in ruby, C#, golang, Scala, Kotlin, JavaScript. You’ve got figure out how you can be flexible enough to learn new languages because that’s what’s going to really make you valuable in the market. Hope this helps !
