So, I started working full-time at a retail store for clothing and accessories and after a brief dispute with my supervisor (my bike broke down which made me come in 20 minutes late to y shift) they told me that it seems like working is not my priority, so to make it easier on me I would only get 20 hours a week. Things are tight as it is, I can't start working half-time. Please someone share some advice or any job opportunities you've seen out there

Please help me decide between below 2 offers in VLSI domain.

I am working as a Design verification engineer and 4 years experienced.

1) Nvidia 25l base + 7 sign on bonus + 60l of stock bonus(vesting 1/4 per year)

2) Marvell 30l base + 14l sign on bonus + 30l of stock bonus (1/4 per year)

Both companies are good in WLB and projects.

Comparatively NVIDIA is top in industry and projects will be better than Marvell. And Marvell is seems to be better in WLB than Nvidia.

Please help me to decide

Help. I’m going to get feedback tomorrow from my new boss (re-org from a couple weeks ago) and it’s not going to be great. Please give me some phrases I can say in the moment to receive this feedback gracefully and in a non-confrontational way, but without necessarily committing to the change he will demand. Details on the type of feedback in comments

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

Anyone have advice on casing/interview process for FTI? I made it to final rounds for Bain and McKinsey but didn’t get offers. Was told I was very close but just didn’t drive the case enough, but I feel confident in my casing abilities.

Is FTI process similar?

I have a quandary to share. My work exp has been tech heavy, starting as a software developer for 8 years; outgrew that. Then for the last 4 years, DevOps, specializing in the Cloud, IaC and GitOps. The tech parts (sans human) feel empty sometimes, and I want to try out transitioning into product. As DevOps, I have loved my share of helping internal customers (dev teams) as well as being an advisor. I love unsticking people. Is it possible to market that for job desc that asks for mgmt exp?

What is the proper way to negotiate pay rates? Been an LPN for almost 8 years and still feel like I’m getting lowballed, regardless of living in a rural area.

Tldr: Is there any way I can record without getting caught by the website/browser and save it to my hard drive?

Off lately, I've enrolled in a course and access has been granted only for a limited period. I've completed the course and fell in love with the course content. Hence, I would like to have a recording of some topics for my future reference.

So is there any way I can record the content?

PS: I am not trying to profit from the content. This is for educational purposes only.

I am currently a year from finishing my PhD and was looking at VC's as a career path because I like to do meta-analysis of different climate change techs. I networked with VCs and one of them was receptive but didn't have the budget currently for a full time hire. They said they'd be interested in working with me to do a research paper over the coming semester, and was wondering if I could leverage this into a full time offer?
