I have no idea. Your CEO sounds like an absolute nightmare. As long as you keep working under this person, you can expect more of the same. They're most likely not going to change, so your only options are to put up with it, or to document everything and - if your case is strong enough to get them pushed out - report it. That caveat is super important, obviously. If you report the terrible behavior and nothing comes of it, that CEO is going to have an axe to grind and will make your work life even more miserable.

Being instructed to terminate without cause places you at legal and ethical risk. Document everything. Protect yourself professionally. If the culture repeatedly conflicts with your standards, you may need an exit strategy.
