What tools are everyone using to calculate and present their data?

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

My boss asked me what id like to do moving forward at work. The department im in has gone under many changes the past few months. I was really hoping the business would put me in a place they “need” me but instead it’s up to me…
My goal is to reach the top, climb the ladder and one day be CEO. I have a lot of outside influences that make this a possible venture.
I’m currently in sales but don’t know if the right path is to continue in.
What should I say to my boss, knowing I’m on right path?

Can anyone give any insight into transitioning from bedside to clinic research? Everytime I look online there seems to be certificate programs that may or may not be a scam/waste of money. Hi. I have applied for a job in an academic setting for a leadership role in cancer research. Duties would have me responsible for a small team of research nurses as well as other managerial duties for the department. I have been a research nurse for 3 years now, but I have no experience applying for a salaried position or a role in leadership. What sort of salary would be appropriate to ask for? I want to transition to a role in pharma or a CRO, but haven’t been successful yet because I don’t have industry experience. Hi I have 5+ yrs of bedside clinical research nurse experience and have been trying to pivot to the CRO world. I have applied to over 40+ positions and keep getting rejected.
