What was your biggest salary jump? My jump from junior to senior copywriter was pretty good but not substantial. I guess I'll have to spend my years in this role and wait till I can aim for the ACD level to really see a jump. What role catapulted you into a higher income bracket? And how did you get there?

Same with me. Junior-to-senior felt incremental, but that next jump really was the game-changer for income. Honestly, networking like crazy and pitching in on new business pitches got me visibility for that step up. My big leap was from senior copywriter to ACD

Biggest jump for me was from mid-level to senior, which was a 100% increase from 55k to 110k (internal promotion). This is/was a pretty uncommon scenario and was the result of a couple of factors - already due for a promotion, just won several awards including a lion, and my partner just left so they were worried I would too.

Biggest normal jump was a lateral ACD move that took me from 140k to 180k.

Sr to ACD is biggest move % wise usually. I left Chicago for another city which was smaller and cheaper but went from 90 as a Sr to 145 as an ACD. Came back to Chicago for ACD role making 10k less was max offer anyone was paying two shops at the time gave me exact same offers.

Has anyone as landlord got money from the rental assistance program in New York? My tenants has started delaying paying rent way before Covid, but we cut them some slack bc they said it’s bc their grandfather died. When Covid happened, we are still trying to collect missing rent from the past. But then they came up with all the excuses, such as son has asthma, that same grandfather now is sick, etc. And then they just stopped paying completely, said the government will pay for everything.
