We had a team touchbase where we as a group were asked our concerns regarding year end. I raised my concerns about staffing/expectations (the team is 75% new) since last year was demanding with us being up to 1 AM the day before deadline.

My director was on the call but not my VP. My VP reached out today and said he doesn’t appreciate hearing such comments on the grapevine but I was confused b/c all i did was answer the question I was asked.

Could I pull off asking my manager from J1 for approval of freelancing on the side? It’s quite common anyway for designers I think. And then my j2 can be “freelance” even though it’s full time?

Do any real estate lawyers out there know of/can direct me to a ROFO agreement to purchase commercial property? Hi everyone just left my permanent role to go the contractor route. Currently employed through a staffing company so I am a W-2 but plan on going the independent route. They offer insurance and 401k.
