What's a hiring red flag for you? Mine is when a candidate starts trashing their previous company. I don't mind honesty, but it should be done tactfully.

I'm extremely intuitive and determining if a candidate is interviewing for the right reasons seems to be pretty clear to me. I can see past nerves, poor answers, etc. But what I cannot get past is candidates who go over the top with the sweet talk/schmoozing. It's almost like you can tell it has worked in the past for them and it's how they landed previous positions. Instant red flag in my book.

i love that you can see right through it!

One thing that always bothers me is so much confidence that it's just a sense of entitlement. It's good if someone is confident, fair enough. But sometimes it's out of control, like the person thinks we're the help and we're supposed to just give them the job. You can really tell who grew up in privilege and had it damage their personality.

oh this interesting, thanks for sharing!

Do you think a person can still stay happy if he/she hasn't found the right partner at 60 years old? What can keep that person happy then?

I'm a light sleeper who cares too much about the people around me, but I've got a flight to London next Friday from 7pm NYC time to 7am UK time, and I'd really like to master sleeping on a plane just this once and not be in jet lag hell for the entire day after I land. I'll be in premium economy in an aisle seat. I usually take melatonin before bed and sleep on my side. Does anyone have suggestions for an OTC sleeping pill or pillow that actually works, or other advice for sleeping on a plane?

Hi Fishes,

I got an offer from PwC. The joining date that I had agreed from my side was 2 June. But I don't know that even in probation the NP is 90 days (it was mentioned in the release doc as 1 month but I didn't take that screenshot as proof). I told the whole issue to my recruiter and she sent a confirmation mail stating that she will revise my joining date by 90 days without issue. Is there any chance they can revoke the offer? I have put down my papers already.
