Anyone at Google open to networking? My new role (haven’t started yet) is senior and I want to start building my network in advance so I don’t feel so lost and alone at such a big company when I join!! I love getting to know people! If you’re open to getting to know a Noogler and be part of my network/support system, I’d really love to chat and learn about you/what you do/where your group fits into the big picture. Google DM me :) 🙏🏻

Shouldn’t a principal know this?
Just looking for ideas, perhaps something I hadn’t already thought of. Ever heard of collaboration and crowd sourcing? Punkass
So should an advisory services Sr consultant
OP - with no degree or formal education qualification + 45 years = higher chances of reluctance of change, ego issues as he may be reporting to much younger generation
Lol 😂
45 entering consulting? Not a good entry point - the ageism of being a BA or an SBA or even associate reporting 28 year old mgrs or 30 ur old Principal doesn’t seem right - I would start with a couple of case books and Victor Chang LOMS to gauge his current skill set prior to recommending next course of action
Why are you trying ? Are they interested at all in pursuing this ? I would suggest independent consulting to start with ,in a industry they were an entrepreneur
Terrible idea to get into consulting at 45! My two cents
What level would they be joining at? Does it ale even fiscal sense for them to be looking at partnership (if not already aiming to start as one) in the future? I’m just curious of course not knowing enough about how the partnership financials play out..
Why would someone willingly get into this shit show at the age of 45!
Thanks guys
Jeez Partner 1!! Punkass??!
With experience like that I think he would be a much better fit for a startup or maybe even a product firm. Consulting puts a lot of pressure on you and working with people 20 years younger and with fancy college degrees could put a lot of pressure on him. I’d be curious to know what he ends up doing. Good luck!
