I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?

I have recently received an offer letter from PwC and have signed and accepted the offer (via Workday portal).
Now when I check the tasks against the job on workday, I can see no tasks pending and under completed tasks: a green tick against 'review and sign offer letter (step complete)' (and I can see the offer)
I am told that I would receive onboarding emails from HR, but I haven't yet.
My DoJ is in the fourth week of July. When do we generally expect these communications?

I’ve done 18 months of internal sustainability work such as building our sustainability practice, initiatives to get B CORP, SBTI, tracked carbon emissions, company campaigns for sustainability awareness, sustainability strategy. I want to move into a sustainability consulting role. Which area of sustainability consulting should I look at? Are there any courses or certifications I should do?

I am a Financial & Strategy Consultant (15+ yrs exp in Banking, Climate/Project Finance & Strategy Consulting) with a pending EB-2 NIW case. I got a request for additional evidence from USCIS. Most of my letters are from known experts. They want me to submit independent expert letters from people who can talk about the significance of my work to the Financial & Management field and US interest, from non-familiar persons. Anyone willing to write me an expert opinion letter highlighting above?

Has anyone made the transition from sustainability consulting to working in industry? Curious to hear how it went and what role you are. It seems like most corporate sustainability positions are at director or VP level and I’m wondering if that’ll change soon to bring in manager level or below

Most of my bowls are currently all about lay-offs and long times in between client projects, regardless of industry/function. Am curious if we sustainability folks are feeling it as much as the rest of our businesses? Have you seen steep drops in commercial activity or do you feel the upswing in ESG continues to buck the trend?

Sustainability consulting is moving swiftly into implementation work as companies no longer ask "why/what?" but "how?".

What are your thoughts about this development and what does it mean for your career plans?
