On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). Hi fishes! I'm currently looking to do a bit of a career switch from research in Medchem to a field service technician role (for laboratory instrumentation). I have applied a few places and got several phone interviews lined up. Can anyone tell me what type of questions I may get? Or general advice on making this switch?

I have had a 60%+ increase in volume from this time last year, but we have not had a new hire in my role to assist with the influx. Additionally, others in my department are overworked and they're delegating down to me.

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.
