Got a recruiter ping last week for a Managing Director role at EY, and I have questions. Is the firm actually hiring? I thought there were all these layoffs - are you all done? Also…I have about half industry and half consulting experience, and less than five years of that as partner at a well respected smaller firm, where I am now…what base and other comp can I reasonably ask for? Finally, thoughts on trying to get to partner at EY (from MD) eventually or not in the cards? Thanks people.

I was recently promoted to a new position at my company. I'm so excited to be taking on this new challenge, but it's not going as well as I had hoped.

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?
