Did they hire you as an IC or manager?
I was hired as an IC at a previous company but was expected to lead a team by week two (on the same salary!!)
If you were hired as an IC then you’ll be (at a guess) being paid an IC salary.
However, if you’re now having to mange people, then there is more money associated with that even if it’s the same grade as you are now
Worth discussing with your manager and HR.
You need to review your responsibilities with others who have your job title. If you are doing more managerial work then find a very tactful bit forceful way to ask for compensation.
I'd also start interviewing elsewhere just in case they don't see the value of you getting a raise.
Probably fine, but do you have a pre discussed comp review date? If it’s soon just wait
I have a performance review in the beginning of the quarter.
Did your title change as well? If so I think you should
My title didn't change but my responsibilities did.
Is this a start-up? If so, this is kind of expected
I think I should bring it up, right?
If the core nature of your jib changed to managing people then ABSOLUTELY! I've had to demand more salary for this reason. Too make concrete case, I would list out the manager duties that you've been charged with to request the raise
If perf reviews are coming up, I’d wait it out. Otherwise go for it!
