Whats the best in-home cardio equipment you bought to get back into shape after baby is born. I am dad. Both me and my wife are having demanding jobs and continously deprioritizing workouts. Cannot spend time to commute to gym or stick to particual time. Want to have something in basement (treadmill, peloton, weights) and use them whenever there is time..

If you’re going to deprioritize the workout without equipment, you will eventually deprioritize the workout with the equipment.

Create a schedule, block calendar, set boundaries, plan alternatives.

I have three kids and work client service.. I get the demands

Generally, the best thing that will help you do this is to commit to some sort of an event or a goal that others will hold you accountable to. Like a half marathon or some other physical event where people will know if you back out.

A heavy bag.

We have a treadmill, but running/walking diminishes returns or takes a lot of time as you get conditioned.

Boxing never misses though. We use an app called Punchlab to lead the workouts and it's A+. Tons of variety in coaches, times and activities. You can also do the workouts without a heavy bag (shadow boxing), but it feels good to hit something.

I found a 100 lb bag as a giveaway and bought pulleys to hoist it to our garage ceiling, so it doesn't even take up space.

I bought a Pilates reformer, and I love the convenience of having it in my house.

My father took a home loan, and the same home is kept as mortgage.
I'm paying arround 22k emi for the same but unable to exempt tax as the loan is on my father's name.

I googled a lot how to transfer it but neither gift deed nor sale deed would work as the property is on mortgage that's under bank's ownership (until loan is fulfilled).

Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.

Is Unisom safe to take in first trimester? My doctor assured me it was and recommended because of nighttime nausea but I’m seeing a mix online that it can cause the baby development issues.

Anyone else struggling with hormones / mood swings? I am almost 16 weeks and been having a real tough time lately, feeling really down and stressed about things. Received my first prenatal massage at 19 weeks today and the therapist was trained and did a bit of myofascial stretching techniques. Never touched my stomach. Just lower back, arms, legs and feet. Last night I went over to my friends house (she has 2 kids, 2 and 4 yo). She and her husband were asking me about my pregnancy and planning. And were asking what I’ve prepped to date.
