Get the epidural early. I was worried about labor, etc and honestly, it wasn’t so bad once I got my epidural. I have friends whose dr’s wouldn’t let them get it too further in the process but I’d ask. Mine let me as soon as I started the pitocin.
Second this. Also got epidural very early in the process (A1 - 14th Aug, also a daughter 😌) and the experience was very smooth. Only very drowsy/ sleepy through the day but as minimal pain as there could be when ejecting a human out of you haha. Please rest assured it’s not as terrible as the movies would have us believe (at least as long as you are open to medications for pain management)
If you end up going into spontaneous labor before induction, recommend going to the hospital just a little sooner than you think you should. Things can take a turn quickly!
You ladies are amazing. Thanks for the advice! OB said induction will be scheduled close to 41 weeks to give me a chance to go into labor naturally. Approx 1cm dilated now. 😬

Look into hypnobirthing .. even tho you want an epidural it talks a lot about breathing techniques and how reducing fear can reduce pain. Good luck, you got this!
