What's the best office chair these days? I work from home and my back is killing me with this cheap thing I've been sitting on for the past year. Ughh.

Herman Miller Aeron chair

like

3 ruptured discs; couldn’t sit longer than 3 hrs at a time. Totally relieves the pressure.

I highly recommend Secret Lab chairs. It's marketed as a gaming chair, but you can get plain ones that loon professional still. I used to have back pains with my cheaper staples chair until I got that. 3 years strong and long days with no issues.

I second the vote for Secret Labs. Got mine with year end bonus and the difference from my 'high end' staples chair is huge. No back pain since the switch!

Herman Miller Aeron for mesh, Steelcase for a bit of cushion. Remember ergonomic chairs are meant to be supportive, not necessarily comfortable.

You can get refurb versions of the chairs above from Crandall Office Furniture online

Mine was in the range of $500… I know there are many to choose from. I think the ones in the $1,000 range is too much $ but the ones in the $200 range are questionable.

Steelcase gesture is my personal favorite. Pricey but worth it

I’d look into the autonomous Ergochair pro

A standing desk is best if you can make it work. Pressure relief floor mat was the game changer.

Flexfit hyken mesh chair is legendary for the price, life is about 3-4 years. Mesh is the only way to go. Leather is sweaty, fabric and foam wears out easily. Mesh has air flow and comfort. I spend way too much time in mine, no issues. I didn’t expect to like a mesh chair.

I got a used Herman miller. It still chairs

Branch chair is my fav, 8yr warranty and I've been using mine for 3 without issues

I went to a used office furniture place near me and sat in a bunch of chairs until I found one I liked. Still around $300 but way better than the $1200 retail price

HM Embody saved my back

I switched from the Herman Miller Aeron to the Razer Iskur Fabric Gaming Chair. Great lower back support.

I personally prefer the Herman Miller Embody. However, I would also recommend verifying your desk is the correct height, as that can cause issues as well.

Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. We have a wide variety of needs but don’t necessarily need to have this future person have all these skills. For example we need someone with great copywriting skills and also need someone who is great at digital marketing. This person doesn’t necessarily need to have both skills but if they did great, but if only one, great too.
