From my experience, the average would be somewhere around the $15/hr mark but it can vary a lot depending on your years of experience and the quality of the restaurant. As for the wage part, that's a bit subjective. Around how much would you call a decent wage?

There's also one for an Italian place, you can see a few more here: https://www.glassdoor.com/Job/orlando-line-cook-jobs-SRCH_IL.0,7_IC1154247_KO8,17.htm?minSalary=48000&maxSalary=55000

You can find some job listings here and see which positions you qualify for: https://www.glassdoor.com/Job/orlando-line-cook-jobs-SRCH_IL.0,7_IC1154247_KO8,17.htm

This one has some other options too: https://www.indeed.com/jobs?q=Line+Cook&l=Orlando%2C+FL&redirected=1&vjk=b11552fd0851bf9b

I would say put Your resume on indeed an tell them what you want salary wise an they will find You jobs that match your salary requirements! Also don’t know Your experience but if Your used to cooking for large parties! U can start being a personal chef ! An promote ur self an your business!

Just depends in what direction you are going, $16 to $20

I don't think I've ever had a bad attitude at work, and whatever "tone" I'm speaking in it's my normal one. As a Black woman I just feel super weird about it and kind of sad.

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

how do we get out?! i’ve been doing office work in a grocery store for too long… this was supposed to help me transition out of hospitality but it feels like i’m going to be stuck in a grocery store for the rest of my career
i guess i just need to voice my frustrations. it’s not that i hate my job or the field, i don’t. i’m just feeling extremely overwhelmed and discouraged i think. does anyone really, truly enjoy what they do in retail/hospitality?? needing some positivity

I've worked in hospitality for two years, but now the travel restrictions are lifting and I'm nervous; how busy does it usually get around Christmastime?

Thinking of switching employers. Do you think bigger retail stores (the ones that have several locations) are easier or harder to work at than little hole-in-the-wall grocery stores (which is all I've ever done)? It seems like the larger chain stores would have more downtime, but I'm wondering if anyone could give some input.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

I'm worried that if I speak up, she'll make my life even harder. I don't want to lose my job because of this—do you guys have any advice?
