Credit card sign up
That triple companion pass points promo for biz flights that expired the 30th got me to close enough where I’ll cc spend the last 2000 points(and the 10x Amazon/gas points promo from chase).
Also if you are close can prepay wireless bill on my card for 2x points.
Personal and business card sign up and done. If you’re a CPA - should be easy enough to say you have a sole proprietorship and prepare tax returns. First year in business, no Sch C filed yet. Get the bonuses in Jan/Feb and you’ll have the pass for 2 years.
As others have already mentioned, the Southwest sign up bonuses as the fastest and easiest way to get the SWCP. Best to apply for the cards during Oct-Nov and hit the spend minimum in Jan to get the SWCP for 2 full years and then repeat every 24 months and you’ll always have the SWCP (you can cancel the cards after 1 year if you don’t need them). Also, best to open business card first since it won’t impact your 5/24 and then personal card second. I’ve personally been doing this since 2015 and have had the SWCP since then.
Oh dang. I only know the CSP/CSR rule which is 48 months. Good to know
What if I’m not a CPA ? I already got the companion pass last year, trying to make it again for next year, and finding it completely hard to hit it unless i spend a ton of money throughout the year
