What’s the market price for a room to rent in a large upscale and renovated apartment (around 1,500 square feet) in the heart of SoHo / Nolita? Assume it’s fully furnished with luxury furnitures. Washer / dryer, elevator, dishwasher. In a 2 beds, 2 baths apt?

Depending on how upscale, I’d say $6k or so

funny

There is not enough money in the world to pay for that room. Maybe Musk can

funny

$14,000 is the minimum budget, and that’s because you require furnished. You can get unfinished around that size 1350 sqft $9500 but if you want that furnished it will be for more. Of your looking for a place DM me.

funny

I can assure you I am not an AI bot. After rereading the question, you are right. I have not seen or heard of a 1300 Square foot room shares. The person asking needs to find a hotel, would be my suggestion.

This guy is crazy. Most people don’t even make $14,000 per month.

isn’t that why ‘most’ people don’t live in a luxury building in SoHo

Best bet is using streeteasy to determine this

If you can afford that, why are you renting a room and not just renting an apartment (1,000 sq. ft with the same amenities)? The extra bathroom and square footage are going to drive up the price of the apartment, and the greatest luxury in NYC is peace and privacy.

Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.

I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to
Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.

The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.

Thoughts?

Have you talked about your wedding with coworkers? I made the mistake of saying I had to leave work a little early one day because I was going to do a tasting at my venue. That starts a debate on why one shouldn’t get married, how much wedding costs & what a waste it is, dresses are stupid because you only wear them once, etc. I haven’t talked about my wedding much, but I didn’t appreciate this. I ignored the negative comments and we moved the conversation along. Not talking about that anymore!
