Does it make sense to move back to NYC in February? Scared to go back if COVID cases are going back up

I would wait and see. You’ll probably be able to find an apartment very quickly and at low rent. Who knows what’s ahead...

Where are you staying now? I gave up my lease and moved out of the city to save money, only planning to move back once Covid case numbers are down and we’re called back into the office

NY was looking pretty good until just the past week or so, but spiking hard right now. This winter is shaping up terrible everywhere - I think it will turn out seasonality was a big part of how things got better this summer, but it’s not our friend anymore.

I would expect covid to be really bad everywhere in Feb, but NYC is a particularly tough place to enjoy while social distancing. I would postpone moving back until May.

So helpful, thank you!

What's scary about it? The restrictions are a pain, but it's only slightly tighter than other places. I live in Manhattan and it's almost back to normal, just without Broadway and indoor dining.

They gave you a small soup for $1 and called it serving food .. it was pretty normal

Honestly do what you think is best. There’s a post everyday on this. Make your own decisions my friend rather than listening to strangers opinions on the web.

They’re going up everywhere really so it doesn’t make much of a difference imo. Covid is here to stay.

Covid has been hard. March 2029- December 2020 I drank a lot to cope without realizing it. January- March I didn't realize I was depressed. March I came to terms with increase and ongoing suicidal ideation and needed help.

I went into a intensive outpatient program (IOP) which has been super helpful.

During the beginning of covid I drank every day and in a great deal. January it was a "dry" month which was hard the first week but overall great.

March 2021 realized I'm clinically depressed.

ADHD medication with high Blood Pressure?

I found ADHD meds helpful when I worked in consulting in my 20s. I stopped the meds when I went back to school. Also have had High BP since late 20s. 15 years away, I am back in consulting and loving it, however my difficulties juggling so many projects/tasks is holding me back. I know I would benifit from some ADHD medication but my Dr won’t prescribe any with my history of BP (controlled with BP meds). Anyone else gone through this? Any tips?

Cavatappi in Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

Tired of of the same old boring tomato marinara sauce? Try a roasted red pepper cream sauce!

Red bell peppers are roasted in the oven until sweet. It is then blended with caramelized onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, sun dried tomato paste, and cream into a silky, smooth and velvety sauce. Finish the sauce with a knob of butter and coat your pasta. Cavatappi works well here. Don’t forget to shave a little Pecorino Romano
