Anyone feel frustrated at times with the super aggressive sales personalities we deal with? My AE is always pushing on every ask no matter how minuscule it is. My vp is super anal about anything we do. I understand these guys pull in huge commissions and bonuses that’s why they are so motivated. However what I personally feel is they just nag us until we do the job according to their spec. Just venting……anyone else feel the same?

Is a JD or an MBA more useful for consulting? Assuming M7 MBA or T10 JD.

I’m working a Principal TPM for a FinTech firm offering digital payments platform. I have 10+ YOE and recently got MBA. One of my focus areas in MBA was business analytics where i learnt ML and NLP using R. Now, I’ll go for PMP next and thinking to pick up Google Cloud and go down Architect route. I have used AWS in the past but don’t want to pursue it further as it has grown a lot and will take me years to learn. Also, Competition! What do you folks think? What would you recommend otherwise?

I wanted to reschedule my hiring manager screen this week because I tested positive for covid and feeling sick with symptoms. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
