I have an offer to join a Tier 2 consulting firm next year (entry level). However, it seems like they have over-hired and they are now pushing the start date back by a few months. This is not great in itself, as I handed in my notice to my current employer last week, but I was wondering if I should be concerned about further pushbacks or even them withdrawing the offer. Is this something that happens, or will it just be a delay as they say?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone here has any tips for dealing with burn out? I have been noticing a real lack of focus and exhaustion lately that I can’t shake. It is starting to bleed into my personal life too. I’m a single mom to a 5yo boy so I’m always tired 🤦‍♀️. I love my company and role, but I keep getting more little projects. Our organization is acquiring a social brand soon. The original organization it was under used “powered by” to show their link. Relationship example: “Facebook powered by Meta” They want to use the same phrase with our organization now that it’ll be under us. The problem is the social brand is well known in our field, but most people had no clue they were “powered by” anyone—let alone who. I’m afraid our organization will be swallowed up as well. Any tips? Is “powered by” the best phrase? TIA!

How many points for being trapped in a Marriott Autograph collection elevator for 1 hour (currently trapped)?

I was a loyal Amex SPG cardholder that migrated to Amex Bonvoy ($450 annual fee - which is really $150 after the $300 Marriott spend credit) ... we charge all personal expenses to this card (over $75K/yr). I feel that Bonvoy Platinum Elite status and a free night per year are nice, but are there better cards that have better rewards? Our other card is Costco Visa (for Costco purchases or for places that don’t accept Amex).
