AFAIK, not all of them are told to move out immediately. Some get put on PIP (intended to be removed at the end of the period)
Some get no growth citing poor performance bad feedback benchtime etc and either they quit willingly or stay stuck.
Bottom 5% would be part of the above
Not true I lost my job with 2 days notice. Didn’t have PIP or poor performance ever. The poor performance was due to time at level, because I hadn’t been flagged for promo I was automatically given an improve performance email and they fired me 2 days later.
What does this imply? Is the bottom 5% of performers publicly announced within the specific departments
Yeah I’ve only been here for a year but I’m hearing the bottom 5% gets laid off/managed out? I’ve been through one PA cycle already but I just haven’t heard anyone actually getting put in the bottom 5%. How is the bottom 5% determined usually?
