When was the last time you felt properly onboarded on a new team? At this new place, I actually feel onboarded, it’s taken about 2 weeks, but is this normal?

I work at a small, 3 lawyer firm. One of the lawyers is not barred in the state we practice. Because of this, the managing attorney has been having him draft motions and other legal documents and use my name and bar number and having me file them because I will have to appear in court for the matter. Is this normal? I am not provided time to review the materials before I file them so I end up working longer days because I am nervous to file something using my name and bar number.

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

My DoJ in the new co. is next monday. As I got a much better offer, I was about to turn down the previous offer and today, I have received the laptop from the firm I am supposed to join next week. How can I politely reject the offer now? Is it even possible?

Today I was walking back to the hospital from my car some random guy came up to me and asked me for directions while I was still in the lot. At a dead end and don't know what to do besides stop! I've been job searching everyday, some days several hours for 8 months straight. I have about 100 different resumes that I've edited for different type of positions. I've got nothing but denials, recruiter screenings, 2 interviews and ghosted.
