Hi All, My Junior has decided to put paper, as she wanted to pursue Cdac course from Sept-22. She just informed that she signed a bond of 2 years and currently she has completed 1.7 years in HCL. What should she do now? Results is on 10-aug and she decided to put paper on that day itself (Earlier she told the same to Sr. manager) Kindly suggest if any action would be taken by HCL OR No experience letter would be shared with her. It kind of just fell on my lap. Almost everyone in my family is in healthcare. What I want out of my career? I just want it to be my way to achieve financial freedom. Never had that growing up.
I went into OT because I wanted to help people and make a positive difference. I love working with babies specifically, so I feel passionate about that. I used to have more aspirations for career advancement, but now I have my own babies, so I just want to work for the money (and insurance especially) and then get home as fast as I can to my family!
Didn't really see myself working in banking or sales or anything of that nature. Wanted to be in a place where I could see some of the impact I'm making every day. I get a little of that but I wish I got more to be honest.
I like that it's meaningful, and it's a recession proof industry. That was the initial reason for getting into it, but now I think it's pretty cool to see innovation in a way that really impacts people's lives!
I became a medical assistant in honor of my late fiance. I saw how some nurses treated him because he was an addict, and I wouldn't let it slide period. My late fiance was left on the ground for 9+hours by a drug dealer who knew he OD and basically left him to die. She was never prosecuted, she did this to four other victims, later it came out unbeknownst to her victims she spiked whatever she gave them with fentanyl, just pure evil. My fiance died 01/11/2015, at age 26 I was 23 at the time. He lived for a year and a half, came out his coma, and we made every moment count. I am 31yrs old now, haven't been out with anyone since he passed away.
I advocated for my Dad when the doctors said he was losing weight drastically due to old age:nope he had a small intestinal tare in his small intestine and a bowel obstruction in his large.
I advocated for my grandma when a resident tried to say her being cold isn't a reason for her to be hospitalized: I said you know good and damn well that she has CHF, you felt her pulse, and her extremities are cold even in 70°F. I didn't tell you I was a MA because you never asked me. I knew if I dressed in civilian clothing you would have dismissed me...that's right I am a MA, you only noticed because I had my stephoscope around my neck. The Chief of Heart Surgery came in with a resident and said she is not going home, she is staying in the hospital.
I advocate for patients friends and family if needed, when I interview a patient I ask questions that alot of MAs don't ask, and really tone in on what they are experiencing. I guess you can say I became an MA to show there are still got medical professionals who have not lost their compassion,or empathy.
As a woman’s health professional obstetrician Gynecologist in queens Long Island area I want to educate my capture audience and patients .
kept getting laid off in banking and the private school and call center industry.
