What is tech consulting hike ? For staf 3 senior
Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

I have made changes before at the semester, but I believe that to make them work they have to be minimal and you need buy in from the students.

I have been excited by some of the enthusiasm some of my students have shown for the new things I have tried this year, but would like to see a bit more engagement.
I've made some changes mid-year, but they're usually pretty minimal. And we'll have new classes as the semester begins anyway, so some things will just be different regardless.

That's kind of my mindset right now. I'm just not happy with some of the behaviors and lackadaisical attitudes I have seen from many of our 7th and 8th graders. I want to amp things up a bit.
We developed three classroom rules (elementary and jr. high)that fit behavior expectations and as the class matures during the year you can change procedures. 1) keep your hands feet and objects to yourself. 2) stay in your seat UNLESS you have permission to do otherwise. 3) raise your hand AND wait for permission to speak. These three address MOST behaviors that disrupt learning. Please post any additional ones. We realized that especially 5th and 6th graders found it difficult to comply but they had to admit it worked. Punishment for breaking rules resulted in a lack of social time (sit by teacher at lunch, stand near teacher or designated spot for recess or break, move desk away from others in class, etc. The best reward for the teacher is phone call to parents if behavior continues and first tell how her child’s grades were affected by the behavior.
The best reward is having conversations with the teacher at lunch and recess. They really do want your attention. Spread it around and just start with the quiet ones one day and the loud ones the next. Be careful not to show favoritism! They will perform if they believe you care for them and we do BUT they are all so needy. This worked for TOUGH 6th graders and I was a new teacher.
